Xither exists because finding the right enterprise AI tool is genuinely hard. There are hundreds of vendors, thousands of claims, and very little independent, practitioner-focused guidance. We built the directory we wished existed.
Enterprise AI adoption is accelerating faster than the tooling ecosystem's ability to explain itself. Every week brings new vendors, new categories, and new claims — most of which are difficult to evaluate without deep domain expertise and significant time investment.
Xither's mission is to reduce that friction. We curate, categorize, and contextualize enterprise AI tools so that the people responsible for evaluating and deploying them — procurement teams, CISOs, engineering leads, and business unit owners — can make better decisions faster.
We are not a review site, a marketplace, or an analyst firm. We are a directory: a structured, searchable, filterable index of enterprise AI tools with the information that enterprise buyers actually need — compliance certifications, deployment options, pricing models, real customer case studies, and funding signals that indicate vendor viability.
We curate ruthlessly. Every tool in the directory has been evaluated against our criteria for enterprise readiness — not just "it exists" or "it has a website."
Enterprise buyers operate in regulated environments. We surface compliance certifications, deployment options, and data residency information because these are often the deciding factors.
We do not accept payment for directory listings or editorial coverage. Our rankings and featured selections are based on our own assessment of enterprise value.
Xither is designed for the people who actually evaluate and deploy AI tools — procurement teams, CISOs, engineering leads, and business unit owners — not for AI enthusiasts.
Independence. We do not accept payment for directory listings, editorial coverage, or ranking positions. Our assessments are based on our own evaluation of enterprise readiness, not on commercial relationships.
Transparency. When we feature a tool, we explain why. When we exclude a tool, we apply consistent criteria. Our enterprise readiness framework is documented and applied uniformly.
Accuracy over completeness. We would rather have 500 well-documented, accurately described tools than 5,000 entries with stale or incorrect information. We update profiles when we identify changes and remove tools that are no longer enterprise-relevant.
Practitioner perspective. Our editorial team includes people who have evaluated and deployed enterprise AI tools in real organizations. We write for people doing the same work, not for general audiences.
Editorial & Curation
A team of enterprise technology practitioners, analysts, and writers with backgrounds spanning Fortune 500 AI deployments, venture-backed AI startups, and enterprise software. We built Xither because we were frustrated by the noise — too many tools, too little signal.
We evaluate tools against a set of enterprise readiness criteria: Does it have a documented enterprise tier? Does it have meaningful compliance certifications (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001)? Is there evidence of real enterprise deployments (case studies, customer references)? Tools that pass these criteria are eligible for inclusion. We do not include tools that are purely consumer-focused or that lack enterprise support.
Yes. Use the Submit a Tool form to nominate a tool for review. Our editorial team evaluates all submissions against our enterprise readiness criteria. Acceptance is not guaranteed and is not influenced by commercial relationships.
If your company is already listed in the directory, you can claim your profile by clicking "Claim Profile" on your tool's detail page. Claiming your profile allows you to update your logo, add case studies, verify compliance certifications, and respond to user questions.
We do not accept payment for directory listings, editorial coverage, or ranking positions. We may introduce clearly labeled sponsorship opportunities in the future, but these will never influence editorial decisions or ranking.
The directory is updated continuously. New tools are added as they are evaluated. Existing profiles are updated when we identify changes in pricing, compliance certifications, or product capabilities. The Updates feed on the site reflects recent additions and changes.
